Why do we need your support?

The Me2 Club is a not for profit organisation and as such does not apply any charges to families that benefit from the service.

The charity is totally reliant on external funding in order to continue its valued work. Your support is crucial to sustain and develop the charity and to make a real difference to the life of a child with special needs.

With your support we can give the children the much needed opportunities they deserve and offer them a rightful place in their communities.

How your support helps

Your donation could help children and young people with additional needs in any of the following ways:

£50 pays for an initial visit to families to assess a child’s needs
£60 pays for a volunteer to be trained
£100 pays for a child's activity
£200 pays for publicity material to be produced
£350 pays for development training for volunteers
£450 pays for a Christmas party for all the children
£500 pays for a day trip out for all children
£600 allows a child to be supported for a year

Make a Donation

You can help make a difference to the life of a child with special needs by donating right now!

Choose one of the following ways that you would like to make a donation:

• DONATE ONLINE – click here to donate online through the secure ‘just giving’ website
  
  

• DONATE BY CHEQUE – you can donate by sending a cheque made payable to Me2 Club and sending it to: Me2 Club, 1a Park House, 17 Headley Road, Woodley, RG15 4JB

• SET UP A REGULAR DONATION – there are two ways you can donate on a regular basis:

1. PAYROLL GIVING – Making a donation directly from your salary is an excellent way to support the work of The Me2 Club as its tax free. For every £10 you donate it will only cost you £7.80 if you are a standard tax payer and £6.00 if you pay tax at the higher rate. For a Payroll giving form please contact us

2. STANDING ORDER – Making a regular donation from your bank account is an easy way to support The Me2 Club. Also if you are a regular tax payer we can claim Gift Aid on your donation. Please contact us for further details.

Get Your Company, School or University Involved

By gathering a few people at work to help you organise an event is an effective way of raising money for the Me2 club and does wonders for team building at the same time.

• Think of an event you and your colleagues/friends would like to put on or take part in
• Check with your company bosses or teachers – many companies may even make a donation themselves
• Inform the Me2 Club
• Publicise your event at work
• Let everyone know how they too can be involved
• Enjoy the event
• Collect the monies and send to the Me2 Club

Some Ideas:

• Sponsored silence - keeping quiet for some people can be quite the challenge!
• Dress down day - allowing a break from formal uniforms and wearing casual clothes
• Cake Sale - all your friends and colleagues make a cake to sell
• Treasure Hunt - these can be great fun to organise, either on foot or in the car
• Talent show - host your own X factor!
• Sports competition - teacher against pupils or company departments against each other
• A themed party or disco - set the scene for a themed party, Casino Royale, a night at the Oscars, a Hawaiian summer party, Christmas Disco

Do Your Own Fundraising

As an individual there are lots of ways you can help raise funds for the Me2 Club, either join one of our events or hold an event at home for all your friends.

Here are some ideas how you can raise money;

• Have a raffle and sell tickets to friends and anyone else that knows you
• Have a coffee morning, make some cakes and charge people to come
• Have a film evening invite friends round to show your old movies
• Collect pennies in an old sweet jar
• Clear out the garage and have a table top sale
• Run a half marathon and collect sponsorship money
• Take part in a personal challenge this could be physical or you could ask people to sponsor you to give up smoking or drinking coffee or eating chocolate
• Hold a wine tasting evening
• Offer to clean friends houses or do their garden
